This program is more intense and offers you far more personal attention from expert instructors than any other program on the market.
How do we do it?

We put our hearts and souls into this business and our clients. As a two-person enterprise, we built our reputation on our unmatched dedication to each individual student's success.  And, since we have no regional managers to impress and no stock-holders to appease, we can spend our time and energy on you. We believe that's the best way to prepare for the LSAT, and our students' successes demontrate that our philosophy works.

We are the experts. At Assumption Required, there are just two full-time LSAT instructors who work very closely with each other and each student. Our instructors are so knowledgable that they actually know every previously administered LSAT. Go ahead - challenge us. Ask one of us about the "French and Russian novels" game, or about the "Talk-Story" reading comprehension passage. We will probably already know what is most likely to have given you trouble.

We also limit our enrollment to ensure that your instructor keeps track of your progress and taylors his/her teaching methods to your level of achievement as well as your learning style.

The total cost is hundreds of dollars less than that of other preparation companies. Why?

As a small company, we are able to keep overhead costs very low. We don't have maids or secretaries. We write our own lesson materials. In fact, we built this website ourselves. So, when you call, you will speak directly to an LSAT instructor rather than a fancy "advisor" who has little or no actual experience with the LSAT. Also, as real human beings that plan to build relationships with each student, we don't want to start off by ripping you off. We think $1100 is a more than reasonable price to pay for several hundred hours of our attention. If you don't think so, then you should probably go to a different company where you can listen to a 21-year-old read from a teacher's manual.

The Assumption Required Advantage

    • Access to your instructors, Randall and Amanda, six to seven days a week
    • Access to our facilities, materials, and expert tutors six to seven days a week
    • One-on-one tutoring with LSAT specialists who know your needs and your learning style
    • Office Hours: This is not an optional portion of the program. Students should spend as much time as they wish studying and asking questions. As test day draws nearer, we stay open seven days a week and expand office hours from the usual 1-9pm so that our students can spend as much time as possible preparing for the LSAT with us.
    • The study process for the LSAT is not a small undertaking if you plan to increase your score by 14 points or more, but with our help, you have the best chance to maximize your abilitites.
